    As a retired business owner I will vouch for the Coffee Barron’s statements. If your employees know you’re not invested in your own well being they certainly will share your sentiments and if they don’t the world always needs another bartender.

    The culture and tone of a company is set by the owner or management. I’ve been into business where people are friendly, helpful and customer service is extraordinary. I’ve also been into business where the opposite exists. When I eventually meet the owner or managers I can tell where the culture is breed from. There’s an old saying, a fish stinks from the head down. Translated it means if the boss or upper management has a tude then the rest of the body of the organization does too. It’s easy to take the high road and lead by good example. The rewards are well worth it.
