Touring Suspension Air Pump

suspensionpump1suspensionpump2Most of you never read the owners manual… On your Harley touring bike, do you know the number of recommended psi’s for your suspension? It depends of your weight, if you ride with a passenger or a heavy load. Don’t guess, recommendations are in your manual. To do the job right, without taking the risk of blowing out a seal. Best thing I ever did to my bagger was eliminate the air in the forks and the rear shocks. Late baggers don’t have air in the front, but early ones, and FXRT, P, S-SP did. It sucked. Plug the caps and put Progressive springs in there. Way better. In back, Koni or any good quality shocks. Your bike will handle way better. (for those of us riding antiques from the mid 80s)

i used to carry a hand air pump for by bicycle tires. after much profuse sweating and physical exertion to pump up my tires to 80 psi, i purchased a good old floor pump model. lots faster, much less effort.

I’ve had one of these for many years. It really works perfectly and is dead nuts accurate. One of the biggest advantages is that when you remove it from the valve, you don’t lose any air. I have friends that have borrowed mine and because it works so well, went and bought one of their own.

They work for stock shock. How about the factory add there new shock as a stock bike. Stop the shakedown.

This pump is a rebadged item. Do a search for suspension air pump and you will find the same exact pump minus the Harley logo for about half the price. I bought one and it works flawlessly.

I picked up at mountain bike shock pump at a bicycle shop for about $20. Pretty much the same thing, for half the cost.

Are we on a kick for showing products that have been out for years?
