cyril-Huze-fast-newsJurors Deem Plaintiffs Negligent In Lawsuit Over Defective Motorcycle Helmets. The lawsuit was originally filed by Wendall Lynn Hulse and Frances Kay Hulse June 21, 2012, in Jefferson County District Court and named Harley Davidson, Hongjin Crown Corp. and Cowboy Motorsports as defendants. The plaintiffs alleged their motorcycle helmets were not equipped with critical injury prevention technology. Because they fail to plead facts to support a design defect claim, the jurors found there was no defect in the helmet when it left the possession of HJC and that the plaintiff was 100 percent negligent in causing the injury.

Good on that jury for finally recognizing that people have to be held accountable for their actions/injuries. Way too often, the manufacturer of an item as well as the seller and everyone related in any form are dragged into court and sued because someone pulled a bone headed move, then wants to make a fortune for being an idiot.

Glad to see that a jury finally accepted that people have to be held accountable for their own actions.
We hear all too often how someone pulled a bone headed move, them wants to sue everyone even remotely involved because they were an idiot and got injured or worse.

There’s probably a dozen Jefferson Counties in the US, what state did the helmet law suit happen in? Looks like it has at least a small pocket of intelligence that made it to the jury box 🙂

I think a lot of people would be surprised to find out just how often the judicial system works and does the right thing. On very very rare occasions a ridiculous decisions with a ridiculous reward is handed down. And because it’s such a rare occurance it makes media coverage and then people think it happens all the time.

Jodie / Ron Paul, from what I have read and seen, Has a great head on his shoeudlrs. I wish he could have helped our country in the time when we needed it the most. I believe he has the ideas for a greater America and I only wish we could see what the outcome of that would be. The thing is, and we have proof from the election 2004, that citizens do not get to choose. No matter how much we think we do. Its all a scam and it makes me sick.
