Paul Teutul Sr. Selling Biker Jeans

PaulSr1The design team of ., the American-made denim label known for its gusseted apparel construction, has partnered with . to create an exclusive jean collection for motorcycle riders.

The Defender V2 Motorcycle Jean is primarily made from 100 percent cotton ring spun denim fabric, which is tinted with a special wash that stays darker for a long time, along with the cut resistant, cool and lightweight DuPont Woven Kevlar aramid fibers infused in the knee, hip and seat areas. Replete with ankle buttons to prevent wind flapping and reinforced pockets to keep phones and wallets, the pants are stitched with a triple needle back yoke which enhances durability and are incorporated with a uniquely shaped larger gusset to provide extra comfort of movement to bikers.

diamondgussetIn addition to the Defender V2, the Denimwear expert has also created a more casual, off-duty look titled OCC Roadster Jean for motorcycle riders who still want to look the part even when they’re not on the road. Based on modern slim-fit and bootleg silhouettes, the medium-dark stone washed, potassium sprayed front and rear and stretchable fabric crafted Roadster jeans gives a worn-in rider look with Diamond Gusset’s signature gusset sewn in.

Both designs are available for purchase at , the official Orange County Choppers showroom and retail store in Newburgh, New York as well as online at .

11 buck Rustlers at WallyWorld accomplish the same results.

Wasn’t he on TV at one time?

  4. 4 Chris Sep 9th, 2014 at 9:11 am

$165.00!!!!????!!!! You’ve got to be kidding me. The first guy I see wearing these jeans is getting kicked in the junk just out of principle.

More wannabe lifestyle crap to purchase for those who sport the costume biker look.

The cash registrar keeps on ringing. I won’t be abandoning my dickies.

I’ve been wearing their jeanns for years,i stick withe the standard s,no need for kevlar & occ……

  11. 11 BobS Sep 9th, 2014 at 3:07 pm

Actually very interested in jeans with Kevlar. I would be riding with them right now if I could find a place where I could try them on. 165 seems a little high but emphasis on little. 100-150 seems pretty typical.

The Aussie Draggin jeans are good.Lots of options. The bike shops used to stock them over here but they bought in a wholesaler between them and the manufacturer and the price went up by 30%. So don’t buy them no more. Still very good product though

Must of been a slow week for motorcycle news.
    But really… this is a Joke…!

  14. 14 Stephen Sep 10th, 2014 at 7:06 am

$165 is what a good pair of kevlar jeans costs anyway in Australia. It’s the OCC branding and Paul Snr that’s the big drawback. I’ll stick with my heavy duty Finn Moto fully kevlar lined and CE armoured jeans thanks.

I fully agree with the bro about buying jeans at Walmart. I have been wearing Wrangler Regular Fit jeans for years, and at 62 that’s a lot of years. It is understood why you may want Kevlar armored jeans, but for $15.97 I will stick with my good fitting and comfortable (cheap too!!) Wranglers

May I see a demo video with Senior putting them to the test???

  17. 17 Grey Beard Sep 10th, 2014 at 4:34 pm

Go for it Sr, milk every last penny from the morons.

  18. 18 morpion Sep 10th, 2014 at 5:11 pm

i will stay with my wall-mart $22 jeans,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  19. 19 BobS Sep 10th, 2014 at 5:50 pm

I’m hoping you guys that buy jeans at Walmart are not the same guys who tell Honda riders they should buy American…

  20. 20 richard Sep 10th, 2014 at 6:42 pm

    BobS I don’t know…this seems like a lousy comparison. A $22 pair of jeans vs. a $23,000+. gold wing.

  21. 21 J Sep 10th, 2014 at 8:37 pm

Oh good god….. Just proof that steroids DO rot the brain…..

  22. 22 Woody Sep 10th, 2014 at 8:42 pm

Pop quiz. How many dollars did most folks spend on jeans last year, and how many dollars on GoldWings. FWIW about ¼ of all Department Store sales (dollar amount) is blue jeans and that was down 7% last year.

  23. 23 live2rideaglide Sep 11th, 2014 at 1:20 pm

I buy mine at Goodwill after somone else has wore them for 5 or 6 years. Get you some of these jeans and some Spiderman undies and you will be a real biker.

  24. 24 Dave Blevins Sep 11th, 2014 at 6:45 pm

I would not be a customer for them, but more power to somebody else if they want ’em.

Perhaps OCC can get a TV show about designing jeans, they could be really long and ill-fitting, corporate themed colors & logos with oddly shaped pockets, sew some huge leg holes on them and VOILA!
I think I hear Discovery Channel phoning in now… “American Seamstress”

  25. 25 BCinSoCal Sep 12th, 2014 at 10:57 am

What happened to bikers wearing Levi’s 501s or 505s for 49 bucks, been around forever, rumour has it that Christ wore Levis.

  26. 26 RUB Sep 15th, 2014 at 11:46 am

Levi’s are either made in Brazil or Malaysia . Stopped wearing them years ago after they closed the USA factories .

  27. 27 Chris Sep 15th, 2014 at 11:58 am

The tag on my Levis says “Made in Cambodia.” Interestingly, I checked a pair I was wearing last week while looking at this thread and they said “Made in Columbia.”

  28. 28 Blackmax Sep 15th, 2014 at 3:29 pm

Yes. Levi’s used to be made in Kentucky
    Not any more !!!!
I’m with Rodent & almost everybody else on this one
How much $$$ can Senior suck out of the masses before they wise up
Show me on a video how well they work & THEN we MIGHT discuss it
(at $165 there won;t be much discussion)
Wrangler’s were good enough for me then & they are good enough for me now
Sorry Senior !!!! (Not Really !!!!)

  29. 29 Chris Sep 16th, 2014 at 10:24 am

I don’t harbor any ill will towards Senior on this. Some jean company stiff approaches him and says, “Hey Paul, we want to give you a big sack full of money if you pose for a picture for our jeans ad.” Take the money, dude.
