I first saw Randy’s work at the SEMA show in Vegas a couple years ago and he brought his vehicles to the Quail show last May where it was the hit of the event! Master craftsman!

Those skills that were once common, are now so very very rare.

He’s clever and very creative !

The shape seems to be a victim of style over aerodynamic stability. The MP3 could hit 100 miles per hour,so it is an issue of safety.

There is a grille, but no floor.Where does the heat from the radiator go?

25K seems a big price for a ticket to ride away as an escapee from the Carny.Meep-Meep I’m a shiny car!

    ‘T’oo fast on the “T”rigger.

This is a 250 cc machine and stock will do an estimated speed of 77 MPH. Air cooled.

Oh ! how much I know as long as there is internet.

  9. 9 Terence Tory Feb 4th, 2014 at 4:30 pm

fuji,MP3s come in all sizes from 125cc to 500cc.Plenty of owners of the stock big 400 and 500 report speeds well up into the speeds where a poor aero body would cause stability problems,80 to 95MPH on the flat,so 100MPH speeds could be attained down hills or with favourable tailwinds. The streamlining may well mean that they would be capable of far greater speeds than the stock configuration.

There are about five different MP3 models that are liquid cooled from 250cc and up.

fuji, have you ever seen an MP3 or ridden a fast maxi-scooter? Doubt it.

Like it or not you have to respect the craftsmanship and creativity…… I am a big fan of having fun.

It’s refreshing to see people who are not full of themselves and to see them having fun. The Decopods look pretty cool to. I would ride one if I had a days worth of Leno’s money.

If there’s a lot of interest for this fun toy, Randy should try and license them to say a company like Polaris. Like Jay asked, the main bodies might also be made of fiberglass which would hopefully keep the costs down. Because of the size of the whole body, just think of the paint schemes a guy could come up with.

My Daughter has a Gilera 500IE Fuoco mp3 which I have ridden in excess of 100mph on a few times, it is very stable and LOADS AND LOADS of fun. Is the only thing I have every ridden that WONT throw you off at insane angles on bends and roundabouts.

Randy is a fantastic designer and craftsman, to do it in Fiberglas would lose the entire point of the piece.

  21. 21 Batterycap Feb 11th, 2014 at 10:08 am

Off the chain cool. And I have wanted an MP3 just for the heck of it for a long time. As soon as the budget allows……………………………
