The New Petersen Museum

Most of you heard about it. Many of you visited it in Los Angeles. It’s getting completely revitalized by Kohn Pedersen Fox and Associates. A preview.

Went to the Petersn museum last summer, had a great time. I would recommend spending the extra money for the tour of the vault “AMAZING” Hard to describe so many awesome cars. Gold plated Delorian, Elvis Pantera that he shot when it stalled, bullet holes in the dash, the first t-bird, the coolest Rolls Royce ever. You know you’re going to see the good stuff when you get off the elevator and there’s a blown hemi engine staring back at you.

Nice promo video, but no information or pictures of a “renovation” other than an artist’s exterior facade makeover.

A partnership is at work in Los Angeles to build an all-new Motorcycle Museum on Museum Way on Wilshire Boulevard some where near the Peterson Automotive Museum. If they can pull it off, it is still many years in the process. The Peterson, run by elite Beverly Hills car people, has never been friendly or cost effective for motorcycle shows and events.
