I am in Wisconsin, home state of , participating to their 55th anniversary celebration both at the Viola manufacturing plant and the La Crosse distribution center. Born in 1958, S&S Cycle has been in the business of conceiving, designing and producing high quality, high performance engine components – now including mufflers – for the last 55 years. Founder George J. Smith had to build his own parts to make his motorcycles go faster. And it became and never stopped to be the company philosophy: to manufacture the most prestigious line of GO FAST V-Twin engine parts. In a following post, I will retrace the history of S&S Cycle. Waiting for it, a few postcards of day 1 of the 55th celebration. Legends below series of pictures

S&S is GREAT
Best v-win engines. Period.
I didn’t realize S&S was a 55 yo old company. Congrats to the Smith family.
When I broke my HD engine, even didn’t try to have it repaired. Replaced by S&S. 52,000 miles trouble free. thank you S&S.
Curious to know what S&S thinks of the new EPA emission regulations to kick in in 2016. Cyri, can you getan an official statement from the President?
My next engine will be an S&S KN seies Knucklehead.
Cyril is everywhere… Bravo S&S.
And still keeping that boyish figure too! 🙂
BRAVO S&S= une compagnie fiable
Love the thought of the day! More speed please!
Great company. The only one to deal with for an after-market engine.
It was nice meeting you yesterday. Sorry about the weather. Not normal for us in Gods Country.
Toured the S&S ranch in 2009. They are wonderful people and loved their little museum.
I went to the celebration yesterday. I got there about noon. I heard Cyril was there on Saturday and was expected back on Sunday. As an avid follower of this blog I would have really liked to meet him but did not see him during my visit. I was really surprised that this event was so poorly attended. It was quite a letdown for me. There was (maybe) 150/200 people there when I left about 3 o’clock. I’ve been to S&S’s plant in Viola and was impressed with their operation, as for as I know a well liked supplier. Maybe they need to do more promotion next time….more vendors etc.
I totally agree with Shifter they are the best……….
