New Vintage Brass Motorcycle Parts

Italy has produced some of the best designs in the world. And it’s still happening because Italians are born with an extra designer gene. I love to go there and always keep an eye on everything new on their motorcycle scene and beyond. Alessandro Pacelli (ex OMP) from based in beautiful Firenze just released a new line of brass parts to make every vintage bike look at its best. The brass spinner gas cap can be screwed in on 1982 and up gas tanks. A matching side fill oil tank plug is also available. Mid Controls include a set of weld-on tabs to be welded symmetrically to the frame. They are designed to work with a hand shift and hydraulic clutch (a 14 mm bore master cylinder is available). Matching these parts is a hot rod style chrome & brass shift lever with a bracket to attach to most motor mount types. .

Buy American made parts for an American bike…they sure would look good on a Ducati!

Always try to buy American parts. Buy American everything. We are losing jobs. Now Levi’s are made in Mexico and many American cars are assembled elsewhere.Just last week the newspaper said that Hershey’s is moving operations out of the USA to lower labor costs and overhead. Hershey’s said nothing about lowering the costs we pay to eat their candy bars. I think we should boycott and not buy Hershey’s. These are really sharp looking parts.

Try to buy American, but these parts listed here have nothing to do with American’s losing their jobs due to outsourcing or American companies moving out of country to save labor costs. Besides, give us a name of a U.S. company manufacturing the same style of products. The Italians are well known for their quality products. These would look sweet on any ride.

The exodus of American companies can be put squarely in the lap of our government, both Republicans and Democrats in the name of NAFTA, GAP, along with both domestic and foreign lobbying groups, whose payrolls include some senators who have jumped ship to become lobbyists. These measures were supposed to keep Latin Americans in their own countries, to boost their economies and level out their economic classes. Yea…that worked. Corrupt Latin governments just became more corrupt and poor latin americans came north in the millions to try to improve their lives.

In my eye, American companies that go out of country to set up shop are no longer AMERICAN companies, no matter if their main office is in downtown Detroit or not. They chose to move out of country to lower their costs, they should have to pay the same tariffs as foreign companies. They are taking advantage and setting up their own little sweat shops in foreign lands where there is no governmental agency to overlook their business and if there is, its a simple payoff to a corrupt government stooge. The same holds true for any company that is outsourcing any part of their business to foreign companies.

Wanna hurt Hersheys. Don’t buy their products. Let them lower their costs. Won’t matter if they can’t sell their candy in the U.S. Wanna hurt Levis, buy Wranglers. If Wranglers moves out of country, buy another American product. Until we as Americans take our wallets in our own hands, the government and “American” companies will hold us hostage. American cars made in Mexico to lower the car companies labor costs, buy a Toyota made in Illinois. Usually better gas mileage and overall better products anyways.

When Walmart started up it was all about American products. The company that ONLY bought American made. Now go in and try to find an American product on their shelves. Americans are being sold out for corporate profits. The plain and simple of it all.
